Almost
all poured concrete foundations develop cracks. Foundations crack because
of settlement, temperature fluctuation, and concrete shrinkage. When a
foundation is cracked, groundwater finds an inlet to the basement or crawl
space through the crack. DuraShield is able to permanently repair
foundation cracks using the epoxy injection process. Foundation cracks
are located, plastic injection ports are installed, the surface of the
crack is covered with epoxy paste, and the crack is pumped with liquid
epoxy. DuraShield uses state of the art epoxy pumps in place of hand-held
units or caulk guns that many contractors try to use. Most epoxy injection

Many
homeowners complain of seepage at the perimeter of their basement or through
cracks in the floor. These problems can best be solved with the installation
of a Hydraway 2000 drainage system. We remove a 12"-16" section
of the basement floor at the foundation walls. The fill is dug out by
hand to expose the foundation footing. Hydraway2000 drainage material
is laid in the trench adjacent to the footing. The Hydraway 2000 is routed
to a sump pump and the concrete floor is repoured. The Hydraway 2000 provides
a route by which groundwater can run to the sump pump and be discharged,
rather than building up and into the basement. DuraShield has refined

When concrete has
settled it can create an unsightly or unsafe condition. DuraShield is
often able to raise concrete back to its original height without the mess
or expense of replacement. DuraShield will drill several holes in the
existing concrete, pump a slurry under pressure through the holes, raise
the concrete back to the appropriate level, and patch the holes. DuraShield is able to raise sunken sidewalks, driveways, patios, garage floors,
